Lhasa, Everest Base Camp and
Kailash Tour - Tibet.

After
visiting the palaces and monasteries of Lhasa,
Gyantse and Shigatse travel by 4-WD jeeps to
the famous Rongphu Monastery and day-hike to
North Everest Base camp from where the views
of the North Face of Mt. Everest is awesome.
Continue across the Tibetan Highlands, following
the great Yarlung Tsangpo river valley, to the
sacred landscape of Lake Manasarovar and Mount
Kailash. After exploring the lake and surrounding
area we will follow
the 3-day pigrimage trail around the
holy mountain to complete a once-in-a-lifetime
kora or parikrama. Afterwards,
drive back to Lhasa, or by way of the Friendship
Highway to Kathamndu in Nepal.

Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake and continue
to Shigatse and Lhatse. Hotel in Gyantse.

Drive via Pangla pass to Rongbuk Monastery,
world's highest
monastery situated at 5200m.
Optional day hike to North Everest Base

SAGA - DONGBA - MANASAROVAR
Drive west over the Tibetan highlands following
the great Zangpo river to the shores of
Lake Manasarovar in the Mt. Kailash area.

Drive
to Darchen and start 3-day trek around

Return drive to Lhasa or follow the Friendship
