An exciting adventure into the newly opened remote valley of Nar Phu - Annapurna Region
Have you always been holding up your dream to visit Nepal only due to its treks having the reputation of being too long and strenuous? Then here is a perfect trek for you! On this trip, we incorporate a moderate plus yet spectacular trek concluding in one of most beautiful destinations of Nepal, Pokhara, which gracefully sits on the banks of Phewa Lake with the breathtaking Fishtail Mountain as its backdrop. Pokhara was part of a once very vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. It is also known to be the starting and finishing point of majority of treks in the Annapurna range. A tour to visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp and Devi Falls will be given and you may enjoy your remaining time at your own leisure and comfort.
Rough and wild this trek cuts through less travelled country south east Annapurna II. It boasts fantastic mountain views and as it is a more "off the beaten track" than other treks we will see very few other trekkers.
The last two days will be spent in the capital where you will be taken on a sightseeing tour to the most significant holy temples and to their vicinity including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Nepal's oldest city, Bhaktapur. A visit to the headquarters of KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Programme) is also included. You can make the most of your remaining time to explore the exciting shops, bazaars, eating-houses etc that Kathmandu has to offer. There can also be arranged an optional scenic mountain flight to Mt Everest. This is only at a nominal cost of approximately $140 and is highly recommended as it’s known to be the "flight" of a lifetime. This enchanting city will delight you with a guaranteed buzz however you choose to spend your time here!
